Mount Saint Helens National Volcanic Monument, Washington - As far as I could tell there wasn't another human soul around me for at least a 20 mile radius. I spent the night on the more remote Northeast side of Mt. St. Helens National Volcanic Monument and the solitude and darkness during the long night was deep and absolute. It made the arrival of this Dark Blue Dawn, all the more welcome.
